George and Lurleen Wallace are pictured on this scarce Alabama political pin. Wallace was limited to a single term in office as governor by the state constitution, but in 1966 his wife Lurleen ran and easily won, keeping the office in the family. This 2 1/4 inch celluloid pictures the happy couple and is in excellent condition.
