Jimmy Carter’s eyes are on Texas on this large and impressive 1980 re-election pin. Jimmy had his work cut out for him in Texas in 1980 – Ronald Reagan was very popular there and Reagan’s running mate, George Bush, was from Texas. You have to admit the Carter people gave it a good try with this attractive 3 1/2 inch celluloid. This scarce pin has a very small lamination mark by “1980,” otherwise is in excellent condition.
