Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Dr. Benjamin Spock team up on this early 1968 presidential campaign pin. King was planning to run for president in 1968 to publicize his crusades for civil rights and the poor and his stand against the Vietnam War. Spock was the famous children’s doctor who was one of the best-known anti-war activists. King’s assassination in April of 1968 put an end to this ticket. What remained was this scarce 1 3/4 inch celluloid in excellent condition.
