John F. Kennedy wrote the book “Profiles in Courage” while recovering from back surgery. It did more than win him a Pulitzer Prize; it also provided the inspiration for this classic JFK pin from 1956. Kennedy was in the running for the Democratic vice presidential nomination in 1956 when this pin was made. It’s a 2 1/4 inch celluloid, excellent condition, a magnificent early JFK piece.
