A rare pin from the early days of Harry Truman’s political career. Missouri Democratic Boss Thomas Pendergast asked Truman to run for Eastern District Judge in 1922; after winning a tight Democratic primary, Truman went on to be elected and took the first real step on his road to the White House. This 7/8 inch celluloid is an exceptionally rare item and includes a great photo of a young Harry Truman. Excellent.
