Franklin Roosevelt’s followers called him the indispensable man. Wendell Willkie’s supporters had a different opinion. This rare Willkie pin from 1940 suggests the real indispensable man is the taxpayer, not FDR. It’s a 2 1/4 inch celluloid with Western Badge Co. of Los Angeles back paper in excellent condition.
