Samuel Gompers was an immigrant cigar maker who became one of the most influential labor leaders in American history. Gompers founded the American Federation of Labor. This 1 1/2 inch celluloid is from the Gompers Centenary Rally held in Indianapolis in 1950 to celebrate the 100th anniversary of his birth. Scarce, excellent condition.
