James Curley never missed a trick when it came to campaigning. Known as “The Rascal King,” he was voted in and out of office in Boston and Massachusetts so many times it could make your head spin. On this 1936 celluloid, Curley hooks on with popular president Franklin Roosevelt. Curley was running for U.S. senator in 1936. He lost that election to Henry Cabot Lodge Jr. The scarce 2 1/4 inch celluloid is in excellent condition.
