Robert F. Kennedy’s campaign for the U.S. Senate in New York in 1964 captivated the entire country. Kennedy was looking for a new platform after resigning as U.S. attorney general His critics claimed he really wasn’t even a resident of New York and called him a carpetbagger. But Kennedy won the race, laying the foundation for his ultimately tragic 1968 race for the presidency. This 3 1/2 inch celluloid is a striking Kennedy pin from the 1964 race, excellent condition.
