The Yippies proposed launching 1,000 pies at Ohio Gov. James Rhodes at the Ohio State Fair in 1977. The idea was to pie the governor as a reminder of the Kent State protest shooting that took place in 1970. This 1 1/4 inch celluloid features a super cartoon showing Big Jim getting ready to take a pie right in the kisser. Excellent condition.
