Another one of the pins that belong in every great collection. This “White Elephant” pin combines football and politics to create an American classic. It’s a 1 1/2 inch celluloid supporting Alton Parker for president and poking fun at the GOP – the “Grand Old Pirate.” The elephant is chained up by the trusts while the people cheer for Parker and Davis. Pin still has original White Elephant back paper, has a couple tiny edge nicks at 12, otherwise excellent.
