This rare metal pinback captures the fervor of the turn of the century Socialist movement: “My wages for Debs and Freedom.” Debs made the transition from labor leader to Socialist political leader after being jailed for his role in the famous Pullman strike. This 5/8 inch item with embossed lettering shows how working men supported Debs as their leader. Faint discolor at left center.
