I.T. Montgomery and B.T. Green were instrumental in the founding of Mound Bayou, Miss. Mound Bayou is an independent community founded by former slaves led by Montgomery in 1887. This 1 3/4 inch celluloid with St. Louis Button back paper is from 1962 when the village’s 75 anniversary was celebrated. Excellent.
