Marcus Garvey was one of the most visible proponents of the Black Nationalist and Pan-African movements. Garvey founded the Universal Negro Improvement Association and African Communities League and campaigned for blacks to return to Africa. This 1 1/4 inch celluloid pin pictures him as the first provisional president of Africa. It has a few edge spots.
