Charles Lindbergh’s solo flight across the Atlantic made him an international hero. So when he paid a visit to Wheeling. W. Va., in August of 1927, just three months after his historic flight, the entire town turned out to greet him. This rare celluloid with with committee pin and ribbon was a part of the festivities. The 2 1/8 inch pin has a small bump right side, Whitehead and Hoag back paper. Ribbon has been repaired with tape on back. A real beauty.
