Anderson Auction #216

Lot #1:

Lincoln, Hamlin 1860 Ferrotype

Honest, this is a great Abe item. It's a classic 1-inchy ferrotype from 1860 with Abraham Lincoln pictured on front and running mate Hannibal Hamlin on the back. Abe side has a few small surface marks you can see only when you hold it at an angle in the light. A marvelous item from possibly the most momentous election in American history.
