President James Buchanan doesn’t look all that happy in this Currier print – maybe he knew what was coming. Buchanan was president in the pre-Civil War years and had this famous thing to say to Abe Lincoln when he left office: “If you are as happy in entering the White House as I shall feel on returning to Wheatland, you are a happy man indeed.” You’ll be even happier if you acquire this 14 by 18 inch matted print. It’s in excellent condition.
