This 1960 pin actually is a John F. Kennedy item. One of the roadblocks to JFK winning the Democratic nomination was the possibility that Adlai Stevenson would show up in an attempt to win a third try for the White House. The Stevenson factor always was in the background. This celluloid addressed that problem: Let’s make Adlai secretary of state! That would clear the way for JFK. Excellent, 1 1/4 inches.
