Herbert Hoover could count on his pals in Maine. This rare celluloid and ribbon was made for the Hoover Republican Club of Maine, which turned out to be one group that stuck with him through thick and thin. Hoover won 58% of the vote in Maine in 1928, and Maine was one of the few states he carried in 1932 (with 55% of the vote). This 1 3/4 inch pin with attached ribbon is in excellent condition.
