It was one event that Republicans and many experts thought would never happen: the inauguration of Harry Truman. Harry was supposed to lose the 1948 election but he ended up winning, so you can forgive him if he looks a little smug on this celluloid pin made for the 1949 inauguration. It’s a 1 1/4 inch button in excellent condition.
