Eugene McCarthy shook the political world to its foundation with his anti Vietnam War campaign in 1968. The daisy became one of the symbols for peace that often was used on McCarthy pins. It shows up here on a pin that was made for a 1992 movie "Hearts of Fire" by York Pictures starring Cleavon Little, Viveca Lindfors, Dick Sargent and Bernard Whiterare. While not a campaign pin, it is a rare McCarthy related item and makes a nice addition to any collection. This 3 inch celluloid with bright yellow background is in excellent condition.
