A youthful-looking Nelson Mandela is pictured on this United Action for People’s Power celluloid pin. Mandela was held in South African prisons from 1962-1990. He eventually became a worldwide symbol for freedom and the president of South Africa. This 2 1/4 inch celluloid was part of the movement that called for his release from prison. Excellent.
