: John F. Kennedy came very close to being nominated for vice president in 1956. Adlai Stevenson opened the nomination to the floor at the convention and JFK came within 15 votes of winning it. It was an important step on his way to the 1960 nomination. This rare 2 1/4 inch litho with only a few tiny edge nicks is from that effort.
