The Congress of Typical American Indians was an attraction at the 1899 Trans-Mississippi Exposition in Omaha. Organized by James Mooney and Army Captain William Mercer, it was designed to showcase various elements of Native American life. This 1 ¾-inch celluloid with Whitehead and Hoag back paper is in excellent condition.
