“LBJ” stands for Lyndon Baines Johnson. But in this case, it also stands for Let’s Beat Johnson. This scarce celluloid pin is a 1964 campaign item aimed at defeating LBJ’s bid for re-election. It was made for Republicans in Colorado, who were next-door neighbors to the Republican presidential candidate, Barry Goldwater of Arizona. The 1 3/4 inch pin is in excellent condition.
