In the mid 1940s the American Youth for Democracy (AYD) was formed as the successor to the Young Communist League. The AYD was active on college campuses and this litho pin is a rare item that shows the AYD fighting for peace. It’s a 1 1/8 inch pin made by L.J. Imber, excellent.
