A scarce celluloid made to back Ronald Reagan for president in 1968. Reagan won the California governor’s race in 1966 and had established his reputation as a leading conservative so that when 1968 rolled around, his name started popping up as a potential presidential candidate. This pin marks the start of the long trail that eventually led to his election as president in 1980. Excellent condition, three inches.
