Auction #145

Lot #64:

Goldwater AuH20

Talk about a really different Barry Goldwater pin! This one is as unusual as they come. It’s the first time we’ve seen this hand-painted Goldwater campaign pin from 1964. It features a gold caricature of Barry on a flat black background. It’s a Barry image that appears to be unique to this pin and makes Barry look rather dashing. The flat black background has a small shiny spot below Barry’s image, but overall is excellent.
