He might have kept us out of war, but in the 1916 election Woodrow Wilson was looking ahead to something else. This rare 1 1/4 inch celluloid from that election is a Wilson classic. It pictures the president with an American eagle and a pair of cannons ready to blast away at anyone who gets in the way. “Preparedness” was the code word at the time for being ready to enter World War I. Whitehead and Hoag back paper, excellent.
