Woodrow Wilson was instrumental in the idea of a League of Nations. He didn’t realize that when World War I was won, there would be another battle yet to fight. Wilson’s campaign to get the United States to become a part of the League of Nations eventually failed as did his health in the final years of his presidency. This dramatic and colorful 1 1/4 inch celluloid pictures Wilson with the flags of many nations and was part of the League of Nations effort. It’s a rare pin with Brunt of San Francisco back paper, excellent condition. Ned Ruhstaller collection.
