Woodrow Wilson was a leading advocate for a number of labor reforms, including child labor laws and the 8-hour work day. The Adamson Act, which went into law in 1916 in Wilson’s first term, mandated 8-hour work days for most railroad workers. This very rare 1 1/16 inch oval celluloid pin trumpets Wilson’s support for working Americans and identified its owner as a member of the “Wilson 8-Hour Club.” Excellent condition.
