Cartoonist Clifford Berryman, creator of the famous teddy bear cartoons, gives William Howard Taft a boost on this 1908 campaign pin. It’s a 1 inch celluloid that shows the teddy bear giving Taft TR’s blessings. This was long before Taft and Roosevelt had their falling out. The pin still has its Baltimore Badge back paper and is in excellent condition.
