Georgia segregationist Lester Maddox was the American Independent Party candidate for president in 1976. This rare campaign pin pictures Maddox with running mate William Dyke, a two-term mayor of Madison, Wisconsin and former children’s television show host. This 2 1/4 inch celluloid is in excellent condition.
