When Judge Harry S. McDevitt of Philadelphia ran 7th out of seven candidates in the Republican primary for governor of Pennsylvania in 1934, he got some help from one of the people who knew him best – his son. Judge McDevitt only received 17,000 votes or 1 1/2% of the primary votes losing to Schnader. This very scarce 7/8 inch celluloid pictures McDevitt’s young son, who asks Pennsylvanians to “Vote for My Daddy.” Excellent condition.
