The Vietnamese “Boat People” made headlines in the 1970s for their attempts to escape from Vietnam. The boat people used just about anything that could float in their attempts to win freedom. Some reports say hundreds of thousands of them perished at sea. This 2 1/4 inch celluloid is a rare pin that pictures one such overloaded boat foundering at sea with a single word at top: “Help.” Excellent condition.
