Van Buren Old Democratic Northern Liberties Ribbon

Martin Van Buren makes a lot of promises on this rare 1840 ribbon. It calls for the representation of old Democratic Northern Liberties, an independent treasury, and the second Declaration of Independence. Northern Liberties actually is a neighborhood in northern Philadelphia. This is a rarely-seen 8 1/2-inch ribbon with some stains and creases, some thin areas at bottom.
