The USS New Jersey was a World War II battleship that had been mothballed. The Navy resurrected and refitted it for service during the Vietnam War. This anti war celluloid protest pin was made for an event held the same day the New Jersey was recommissioned – April 8, 1968. It’s a 1 1/2 inch button in excellent condition.
