Teddy Roosevelt always seemed to be in the right place at the right time – assistant secretary of the Navy at the opening of the Spanish American War, Then San Juan Hill, then vice president when President McKinley was shot. Was it luck? This colorful 1904 campaign pin was made to bring him some more luck with a lucky horseshoe. It’s a 1 1/4 inch celluloid and back paper that reads, “For everything in buttons, send orders to Wm. L. Hartman, Cincinnati, Ohio,” excellent condition.
