Theodore Roosevelt talked about speaking softly and carrying a big stick when it came to international relations, but there was no speaking softly when it came to campaigning. This very unusual TR campaign item makes a big impression. It starts with a very scarce 1 1/4 inch Roosevelt celluloid and gets an extra flourish with a 2 inch paper, patriotic shield. A striking TR item in excellent condition.
