A rare Theodore Roosevelt item from 1912, when he made the saying “My Hat is in the Ring” famous. It’s a 2 inch metal frame with celluloid in the center. Pin is missing from back. “Hat is in the ring” came from boxing; when someone wanted to challenge the man in the ring, he threw his hat in, just like TR did in the presidential race in 1912. Excellent.
