A handsome pin and ribbon combination made for the 1904 Democratic National Convention in St. Louis. This Tammany Hall item is a 3 1/2 inch tall piece with a few faint stains on the Tammany name at top. The Indian was Tammany’s symbol – it was named for Tamanend, a Lenni-Lenape Indian leader who lived in the late 17th century. Indian badge and ribbon are excellent.
