William Howard Taft and James “Sunny Jim” Sherman are pictured together on this beautiful jugate from 1908. This pin is from better days for the pair: they won the 1908 election easily, but four years later Sherman died a week before the election and Taft finished third. This scarce 2 1/4 inch celluloid has a design rich in details, excellent condition.
