William Howard Taft and James “Sunny Jim” Sherman are pictured together on this beautiful campaign jugate. Sherman was on his way to some vice presidential firsts – he was the first VP to fly in an airplane and the first throw out a first pitch at a baseball game. He also was the last to die in office. This 1 1/4 inch celluloid is a rare beauty, with patriotic design and WF Miller back paper. Excellent condition.
