A very scarce Illinois coattail pin picturing William Howard Taft with Charles Deneen who served two terms as governor of Illinois. Deneen was elected in 1904, re-elected in 1908 and lost in 1912. He also served a term as U.S. senator from 1925-1931. This 1 1/4 inch celluloid even has a small Illinois state seal at top. Whitehead and Hoag back paper, excellent condition. A rare Illinois coattail pin from the Bob Rouse collection.
