Uncle Sam welcomes Theodore Roosevelt home on this extremely rare version of the famous TR rising sun pin. The pin was created to welcome Roosevelt home from the year-long African safari he took after he left the presidency. This is a legendary 1 3/4 inch celluloid with Whitehead and Hoag back paper. The Goerke Company was a Newark-based department store. This pin will be one of the brightest lights in any collection. Stunning artwork, excellent condition.
