Fort D.A. Russell opened in Marfa, Texas, in 1911 to protect West Texas from Pancho Villa. It didn't take long for men there to organize a political Progressive Club. This very scarce 1 3/4 inch celluloid features one of the soldiers from the fort and is in excellent condition.
