The Polish labor union Solidarity became a major player in the downfall of communism in Eastern Europe. The union was founded in 1980 in the Gdansk shipyards and its leader, Lech Walesa, soon became an international celebrity. This celluloid pin features the famous Polish Solidarity symbol. It’s a scarce Ronald Reagan campaign item reflecting his crusade against communism. The pin is 2 1/4 inches, excellent condition.
