Very scarce pin made during the famous Scottsboro Boys trial. This 7/8 inch celluloid was issued by the International Labor Defense fund in support of the nine black teenagers who were put on trial in Alabama beginning in 1931 for the rape of two white girls. The case dragged on for years and focused international attention on the Southern court system. Great graphics and a legendary court struggle make this pin a true civil rights classic. Excellent condition.
