Teddy Roosevelt and the Rough Riders had such a grand time during the Spanish-American War that they kept getting together after the fact. This colorful celluloid pin is from the 1900 reunion, held in July of 1900, just a few months before Roosevelt became president after William McKinley’s assassination. The rare 1 1/4 inch celluloid features a fantastic Rough Rider design, is in excellent condition.
