Uncle Sam sure is happy to see his old pal Teddy Roosevelt on this colorful political pin. Teddy is dressed in his safari togs and the big welcome is because he is returning from his self-imposed exile away from the United States. “Elba” refers to the island where Napoleon was exiled for 300 days before returning to France and eventually going to his Waterloo. This 1 1/4 inch celluloid still has its Ann St. Badge and Novelty Co. of New York back paper and is in excellent condition.
